In the flurry of pictures following Strom's 100th birthday party, many have been published like the one on the right. Have you even wondered why all these photos are cropped? As pointed out by Hesiod, guess who else was at the little shindig for Mr. Thurmond's 100th, nodding his head appreciatively to Lott's remarks.

Now, it is clear why the White House has been so silent and unable to even comment on Mr. Lott directly, much less call for his ouster. And why does the "liberal" mainstream media ignore the facts and not attack Bush with the same ferocity for his own race politics? (See also this post.)
